Maya Blaustein

Soprano Maya was born in Israel in 1992. She began her singing studies at the age of 12 with Khilma Digilov at the high school of The Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance. She graduated her Bachelor degree at the Hochschule für Musik „Hanns Eisler” in Berlin in the class of Fionnuala McCarthy, where she currently studying further for her Master degree.
As a soloist sang Maya with the Haifa Symphony Orchestra, the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra IBA in the „Israeli Opera Tel- Aviv- Yafo“, the Jerusalem Amateur Symphonic Orchestra, with the Neues-Kammerorchester Potsdam in the Konzerthaus Berlin and in the Schleswig-Holstein music festival in Germany under the baton of Maestri Stanley Sperber, Ronen Borshevsky, Amos Boazson, Tzvi Carmeli, Rolf Beck and Helmuth Rilling. At the production of Tristan & Associates Sang Maya the role of Dalinda from the opera Ariodante by Händel and was as well part of the opera production OpenSpace-Armida in the Neuköllner-Oper in Berlin. Recipient of AICF scholarship for the years 2008-2009 and currently a member of the Chorakademie-Lübeck.
