About Maya Golan

Soprano Maya Golan was born in London, England in 1996 and moved to Israel in 2007. She is currently studying at the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance under Efrat Ben-Nun and Zvi Semel. Former student of Ayala Sicron (Israel Conservatory of Music) and Iris Brill.

In 2014, Maya graduated from Reut High School for the Arts in Haifa where she majored in Music. She is a member of the Jerusalem Academy Chamber Choir, conducted by Prof. Stanley Sperber and Bat-Shir vocal ensemble of the Haifa Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Tali Weissman. She has also performed with other vocal ensembles and orchestras nationally and internationally.

She is a recipient of the America-Israel Cultural Foundation Scholarship 2016-17 and 2017-18 for Vocal Studies.
