Mikhal Terentiev
Mikhal was born in 2002 in Afula. She began studying the violin and viola in 2011 with Aryeh Marcus at the Kiryat Bialik Conservatory. Since 2015, she has been studying with Zvi Carmeli at the Jezreel Valley Center for the Arts, specializing in the viola. Mikhal has participated in Northern String Ensemble activities, including a masterclass with Ida Biler, “Young String Players”, The Program for Musical Excellence, chamber ensembles, the 2016 Huberman Festival in Jerusalem, the “Jerusalem Sounds” seminar, and the Young Israel Philharmonic Orchestra in the summer of 2017.
In addition, she has taken masterclasses with the following artists: Hagay Shaham (2015), Nobuko Imai (2015), Hilel Zori (2016), Giorgio Marinari (2015), Robert Vernon (2016), Hartmut Rohde (2016), Amichai Gross (2016). Mikhal performed a recital at Beit Ildan in Kiryat Motzkin in June of 2017. She received a Sharet Foundation Scholarship in 2017 and is currently with Zvi Carmeli at the Jezreel Valley Center for the Arts.
