Milana Yalir
Born in Tel Aviv.
At the age of twenty Milana moved to Amsterdam, where she studied Audiovisuals at the zGerrit Rietveld Academy. She also attended other studied in Tel Aviv: Dance at the Bat Dor dance school and visual arts at the high school Thelma Yellin.
In 2020, Milana went tough a stroke, and is currently undergoing rehabilitation at the Reuth Medical Centre in Tel Aviv, where she is working on a documentary about her rehabilitation process.
1992 – Gallery of Dance – multimedia performance of dance and visual arts
1995 – Street Dancing – video dance installation- solo exhibition in Amsterdam
2000 – Rhythm of Chance – video dance installation for the Royal Troical Institute sponsored by the Amsterdam Fund for the Arts.
2014 – Oxymoron- paintings exhibit in old Jaffa – Light House Gallery, Tel Aviv
2020 – 2021 – going through rehabilitation in the Reuth Medical Centre – working on a documentary about the rehabilitation.
