Nadav Berkovits

Nadav was born in Haifa. He began his musical journey when he was 9 as he started taking classical piano lessons with Mrs. Michal Moshkovitz. When he was 15 he started to explore Jazz and improvisation. He studied Jazz with Dr. Shai Cohen and Dr. Dan Cohen. In 2012 Nadav started to study in the Israeli Conservatory Tel Aviv with Gil Sorin, Omri Mor, Gilad Ronen and Ms. Keren Hanan.
In the summer of 2013 Nadav performed with the Haifa Big Band in Marseilles, France.
Nadav served 3 years in the Air Force Band as a pianist and musical arranger.
In 2016 he began his studies at the Israeli Conservatory Tel Aviv in the Jazz program of the New School New York.
Nadav is a recipient of the America–Israel Cultural Foundation scholarship for 2018-2019.
Nowadays, He is playing with various groups in different genres and composing his own music.
