Nadav Klahr

Nadav was born in Jerusalem, Israel. At the age of 4, he moved with his family to Sydney, Australia where he attended Moriah “War Memorial” College. At the age of 11, he returned to Israel where he now attends the Hartman High School for Boys. Besides playing the euphonium, Nadav enjoys playing many sports including football (he is an avid Arsenal fan), tennis, cricket and golf. He has also completed two City to Surf runs in Sydney. He attends Bnei Akiva on a regular basis and enjoys participating in hikes with his friends.
At the age of 8, Nadav began playing the euphonium. On returning to Jerusalem, he joined the Jerusalem Conservatory for Music “HaSadna”. At the age of 13, he was promoted to the senior wind orchestra, and was offered a position in the Israeli National Youth Orchestra. He has played in the Crown Auditorium, Jerusalem as well as concerts in Kfar Saba, Rishon Lezion, Zichron Yaakov and Netanya. Throughout 2016-2017, he participated in several masterclass workshops with both national and internationally acclaimed musicians. In July 2017, Nadav toured China with the National Youth Orchestra where he participated in the Eurorchestries Festival of Music in Qingdoa. In September 2017, Nadav was awarded an AICF scholarship.
