Nadav Verbin is First Prize winner of the Roma International Piano Competition in Italy, International Music Competition “Salzburg” Grand Prize Virtuoso in Austria, “Golden Classical Music Awards” International Competition in New York, the Israel Conservatory, and the Turgeman competitions in Israel.
Recent highlights include concerts at the Carnegie Hall in New York, the Mozarteum in Salzburg, and Auditorium del Massimo in Rome. Verbin has been performing with the Toruń Symphony Orchestra, Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra of Wernigerode, Lemberg Sinfonietta, KLK Symphony Orchestra, Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra, and the Thelma Yellin Symphony Orchestra. His playing has been recorded and broadcast by TV and radio stations in the United States of America, Italy, Germany, and Israel. He has played in Israel’s most prestigious festivals, such as the Israel Festival in Jerusalem, Voice of Music Festival in the Upper Galilee, and the Eilat Chamber Music Festival.
Nadav Verbin completed his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees at the Buchmann-Mehta School of Music at Tel Aviv University, where he studied with Arie Vardi. His former teachers were Emanuel Krasovsky, Rachel Feinstein, and Michal Tal. He has been awarded grants by the America-Israel Cultural Foundation and the Colton Foundation.
Mr. Verbin was recently appointed president of the World Piano Teachers Association Israel.
