Natali Issahary

Natali Issahary, a video art and photography artist, was born in 1985. She holds a B.A. in Arts and Cinema history from the open university and graduated with honors from the photography studies at Minshar College, and Tel Hai College, in the Jewelry Design and Metalsmithing Department. In 2014, Natali was awarded the America-Israel Cultural Foundation Scholarship for promising artists.

Since completing her studies, Natali has been blending materials with various photographic techniques and development processes. Through the use of different mediums such as video and traditional darkroom techniques, Issahary explores chemical processes, art history, and the boundaries of traditional photography. Her works have been exhibited both nationally and internationally, including at the Musrara Mix residency and Festival, the Lincoln Center in New York, the Tel-Hai Photography Museum, and more. Her debut solo exhibition was held at the Art Space TLV, a contemporary art gallery in South Tel Aviv in the summer of 2019. In this sense, Natali Issahary reintroduces the historical relationship between art, science, and technology and pushes the boundaries of the photography medium.
