Nitzan David Hamerman

Nitzan David Hamerman received twice in two consecutive years (2018 and 2019) the “Oman-Moreh” Prize from the ministry of culture. He received twice in two consecutive years (1995 and 1996) a full-tuition scholarship, from the Bezalel Academy of Art & Design.
Hamerman has exhibited in numerous solo and group exhibitions in Israel and abroad including SOFA-Chicago IL; Herzlia Museum, Herzlia; MOBY Museum, Bat Yam; United Nations-New York NY; Ramat Gan Museum; The Tel-Aviv University Art Gallery, Tel Aviv; Brandeis University-Waltham, MA; Hamidrasha Art Gallery, Tel Aviv; Rothschild 12, Tel Aviv; Prozori Gallery, Zagreb; The World Bank-Washington DC, Bellevue Art Museum-Bellevue WA; The Heder Gallery, Tel Aviv; Zero Gallery, Berlin; The Cube, Jerusalem; Barbour Gallery, Jerusalem; Hachalalit Gallery, Tel Aviv; Art Space TLV, Tel Aviv. Hamerman was born in a kibbutz in southern Israel in 1966. He studied for 4 years at the Bezalel Academy for art and Design in Jerusalem towards B.des. He graduated from the Continuation Art Program at Hamidrasha Beit Berl. graduated with B.A. Humanities and Social Sciences at the Open University, Tel Aviv. Now he is studying towards M.A. in Cognitive Studies of languages at Tel Aviv University.
