Ohad David Posti was born in 1997; he now lives in Moshav Ganot Hadar. 2 of his brothers play too, and they are both AICF grant recipients ( Or Yosef – clarinet , Omer Itzhak- oboe). Ohad began his bassoon studies in The Conservatory of Music in Tel Aviv.
Ohad has played as a chamber player and an orchestra player in many countries, such as France and Italy . also , he took a part in israel orchestras such as Galil orchestra, national winds orchestra, symphonette raanana ,thelma yellin symphony orchestra, the north young israel philharmonic orchestra, “Keshet Eilon” , rehovot orchestra. he took a part in chambers in thelma yellin , shtriker conservatory and polyphony in training of musicians from israel and Europe such as Ruthi Ron, Ron Zelka , Tiby Tziger and laszlo kuti.
Ohad won in “chamber music competition” of TAU and shtriker competition for young musicians. also he wons in scholarships such as AICF , Keren Ronen and “keynote” of the israel philharmonic. Ohad played as a soloist with many orchestras like TLV ensemble soloist and thelma yellin orchestra. in addition, Ohad took a part in master classes who include Mordechai Rechtman and Mor Biron,& Sophie Dartigalongue.
ohad played with the new Israel opera in the opera “don giovanni” (season 2017/18) , Who conducted by Daniel Oren and Nimrod Peper.
Ohad is a graduate of the high school “thelma yellin” and he studies at the Buchman-Mehta School of Music in Tel Aviv.
in 2017-2019 Ohad was a member of the “Ramat Gan symphony orchestra”.
these days Ohad is a member in TAU symphony orchestra.
ohad study bassoon in the class of prof. Mauricio Paez and contrabassoon with kristijonas griges.
