Omer Levi
Omer Levi
Omer Levi was born and raised in Petach-Tikva.
He studied in the Petach-Tikva Municipal Conservatory, in the years 2003-2012, under the guidance of Vered Yavin, Reuven Mozes, and David Gru.
He completed his Bachelor studies, in Bassoon Performance in the Buchmann-Mehta School of Music, in the class of Prof. Mauricio Paez, and he is now studying his Master degree in HfMT Cologne, in the class of Prof. Georg Klutsch and Prof. Bram van Sambeek.
He won several prizes in the Buchmann-Mehta school of music competitions, including 3rd prize in the Wind Competition, 3rd and 2nd prize in the Chamber Music Competition, and the 1st prize in the Israeli Chamber Music Competition. He had also won the 2nd prize in the Hfmt Cologne Woodwind Competition, and the 4th prize in the Noshfim Kfar Saba Competition 2016.
Omer has participated in masterclasses with Mor Biron, Dag Jensen, Georg Kluetsch, and many more. He had also played in several festivals around the world, as Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival, Campos do Jordao Winter Festival, Moritzburg Festival Summer Academy, and more.
Omer is an AICF excellence scholarship recipient since 2013.
