Omri Ever Hadani was born in Tel Aviv; he started playing guitar at age 9, and a year later switched to the bass. He has studied with Marselo Pardo, Simon Star and, for the last 5 years, with Eli Magen. Omri also completed two years of study at the Shtriker Conservatory in Tel Aviv. He has completed his first year in the IDF as an outstanding musician.
Omri has performed with some of Israel’s finest jazz artists, including Peter Wertheimer, Dan Godfried, Albert Piamenta, Nitzan Ein Habar, and other. He has also performed with visiting artists Mark Turner and Ulysses Owens. Omri performed three times at the Red Sea Jazz Festival with his own band. In 2015, he played with the Young Philharmonic Orchestra. In 2016, he performed with the YPO as a First Bass in the Bass section.
Omri has received grants from the Israeli Philharmonic as well as the America Israel Fund (for classical music) and another grant for jazz studies. In 2016 he received a classical music fund from the America-Israel Cultural Foundation.
