Ori Menashe

Ori Menashe lives in Kibbutz Ein-Carmel in the outskirts of Haifa, Israel. Ori started playing the alto sax since fourth grade (nine years ago), When he started studying with the teacher Nimrod Graf during elementary school. Ori continued his studies with Erez Barnoy during middle school and with his current teacher, Gilad Ronen since high school.
Over the years Ori has played in the jazz department of the Israel Conservatory for Music in Tel Aviv with the Academic Big Band under the guidance of Yuval Cohen. During the past two summers, Ori has played in the Red Sea Jazz Festival with his band after winning the RSJF Young Jazz competition, and in the last festival he was honored to join the Eyal Vilner Big Band.
Ori also has applied for a saxophone scholarship for Alto Saxophone in the Jazz field, and to his great joy, he was awarded the scholarship.
