Rinat Tsodyks was born in Jerusalem, Israel in 1991. She has studied piano from the age of 10. While serving in the IDF as an “Outstanding Musician”, Rinat enrolled at the Buchmann-Mehta School of Music where she completed her Masters degree. Currently living in NYC, Rinat is a member of the piano duo “Pianeers” together with her husband, composer and pianist Oren Lok, dedicated to the performance of original classical music.
Rinat has performed in concert halls throughout Israel, as well as in Europe and New York. Notable performances include performance with orchestra at Israel’s new music festival “Sounds in the Desert”, performances broadcasted live on Israel’s classical music station, “The Sound of Music”, a performance as a soloist with an orchestra in Kharkov, Ukraine, and performances in NYC’s (le) poisson rouge, DiMenna Centre, Frederic Loewe Theater and the Black Box Theater. Rinat is the recipient of an AICF scholarship in piano.
