About Ron Orlovsky

Ron is an Israeli actor, singer and performer based in Brooklyn. Ron grew up in Ramat Gan, a suburb of Tel Aviv. He studied classical singing in the vocal department of The Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance, and is a graduate of the American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA) in NYC.
Before starting his career in acting, Ron worked with underprivileged youth in Israel as a social guide and over 6 years as an educational manager for the Israeli Scouts. He has no doubt he will get back on that route in the future, using the amazing tool called ‘Theater’.

Since his graduation, Ron has performed in numerous venues throughout New York City and elsewhere. Ron loves taking part in new experimental shows as well as repertory productions. Favorite original works: ‘The Nose – The Musical’, ‘Tales of an Imaginary Bird’, ‘Memory of a Smile’, ‘Eden: Part 3’. Favorite Repertory Theater: ‘Three Sisters’, ‘Ragtime’, ‘Company’, ‘Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat’ and ‘Into the Woods’.

For the past few years, Ron has been working with Maera Daniel Hagage, founding Dirty Laundry Theatre company.
