Ronen Shifron

Ronen was born in 1987 in Israel and began playing the violin at the age of 12. He attended the David Goldman Young Excelled Players program and received a studying scholarship with Nava Milo.
He completed his 1st degree in music at the Buchman-Mehta High School of Music, and at the same time excelled his 2nd degree in teaching bow instruments. Today he studies at the High School of Music in Leipzig, Germany.
In 2014 he won a borrowed bow in the international “Knopf” competition in Dusseldorf. He attended many international festivals. Today he plays a viola made by Jurgen Mantei (Leipzig).
Recipient of the AICF scholarship between 2007-2013.
