Roni Doron

Roni Doron was born and raised in Kibbutz Maabarot, israel.
Roni did her BFA at Bezalel Academy of Art and Design in Jerusalem, with one semester in the Fine Arts Academy Vienna.
Through her works Roni walks around the lines that define painting, studies the relationships of painting with the body of the creator in the studio, the visitor in the space and the other paintings in the space. The gaps between those things are an important feature for her.
Roni received the AICF scholarship for visual arts of 2016-17 with the kind donation of the Dalia and Eli Hurvitz Foundation, and The Aileen S. Cooper 2016 Prize for Excellence in Creativity, Bezalel Academy of Art and Design.
