Roni Oved
Roni Oved was born in 2002 in Kiryat Motzkin. She began studying the violin at age 6 at the Kiryat Motzkin Conservatory of Music with the teacher Ms. Bella Purisman. She is now studying with Dr. Guy Figer at the Israel Music Conservatory. Roni studies in Reut High School of Arts in Haifa, where she plays in chamber ensembles, School Orchestra (Concertmaster) as well as performing as a soloist.
Roni participates in the David Goldman Program for Outstanding Musicians and in the Young Israeli Philharmonic Orchestra. She took masterclasses with the violinists Ida Bieler, Julian Rachlin, Miriam Fried, Rachel Barton Pine, Grigory Kalinovsky and played solo on “Keshet Eilon” stage, and with the Ben-Dorit symphonic orchestra, Beer Sheva Sinfonietta, Reut High School of Arts symphonic orchestra and with Kiryat Motzkin’s orchestra. In addition, she participated in the Goppisberger Musikfestival und Akademie in Switzerland, the MRF MusicFestivals in Italy and “Summa Cun Laude” in Vienna. In May 2019, she won a scholarship for excellence of the Tel Aviv Conservatory and AICF.
