Rotem Azoulay Havusha
Rotem was born in 1998 in Afula. He started his trumpet studies at the age of 11 with Dima Krizelbord at the Afula Conservatory. For the past 3 years, he has been studying with Alex Royzman in Petah Tikva. He currently studies with Israeli Philharmonic Orchestra trumpet player, Ram Oren. He is a graduate of the National Youth Wind Orchestra and the Youth Israel Philharmonic Orchestra.
Rotem performed as a soloist with the Tel Aviv Soloist Ensemble and the Tel Aviv Chamber Orchestra, conducted by Barak Tal. He participated in masterclasses with world renowned trumpet players including Marco Pierobon and Guy Touvron. He is a recipient of the America-Israel Cultural Foundation scholarship for the study of the trumpet for the years 2015-2017
