Ruth Bitton

Ruth has been making art for over two decades. Her work is shown in solo and group exhibitions in galleries all around Israel.
All along this time, she continues to study with the finest painters in the country.
Annually, her paintings are part of the Israel Museum’s youth department’s exhibition.
In her work, Ruth reflects her close, day to day surroundings. In previous works, she painted the landscape of the Jordan valley, where her artistic career began. Nowadays, Ruth paints the roads leading to Jerusalem and the Israel Museum.
Ruth is a mother of 4 and grandmother to 9 grandchildren. She lives in Tel Aviv and Beit She’an. She is currently working on solo show, made of a series of paintings depicting her time around the Israel Museum, the people she encountered, the experiences and landscapes.
