Ruth Schreiber

Ruth Schreiber, was born in London and has been living and working in Jerusalem for over 30 years.
Among her major studies are Economics at the University of London, Psychology at the State University in NY, Art History in Stanford University, and Ceramic & Glass Design (MFA course) at Bezalel Academy of Art, Jerusalem.
Since 1997 she has been a docent at the Israel Museum, Jerusalem, leading tours in all departments including the Dead Sea Scrolls, art and archaeology. In parallel, she has been developing her own art. As a multi-disciplinary artist she delves into a large spectrum of creation, such as photography and installation, sculptures, video art and more. Ruth has exhibited in Israel, Europe and North America. Her work relates to themes of life cycle, ageing, birth and death, heritage and memory.
