Sapir Mashiach

Sapir Mashiach was born and raised in Holon, Israel. She studied visual communication in Shenkar College of Engineering and Design. Sapir’s focused in Interactive Design mainly for the web. Sapir is also very interested in Typography, especially for the Hebrew alphabet. Her final project presents an original, dynamic Hebrew font which enables to interactively change typographic attributes, confronting the static behaviour in traditional fonts. It provides an accessible re-investigation of the limits of typography in the web medium.
Sapir participated in several exhibitions of the “La-Culture” organization for accessible art. Her works were also chosen for several external exhibitions of the Visual Communication department in Shenkar.
In 2017, She has won the recipient of the Azrieli Foundation Prize for Outstanding Students. She also received the Alefalefalef prize for outstanding project in Typography. Sapir is an America-Israel Cultural Foundation grant recipient in the field of Visual Communication Design.
