Sapir Mazgaonker is an Israeli actress. She studied ‘educational-community theater’ at the Western Galilee Academy and graduated with honors.
Sapir was born in Rishon Le-Zion, Israel. Along her life she has wandered throughout the country, crossing it from North to South.
For the few years she has been living in Karmiel, where she is considering to finally settle down.
Sapir has participated as an actress in student productions and community theater projects.
She was a choir member in the play ‘Electra’ directed by Dr. Kinneret Noy at the SMKB. She led a theater group for peripheral women, where she wrote, directed and produced a play based on their stories.
Just before COVID-19 pandemic emerged into our world, she began to lead social-theater groups for children and youth.
In those groups, she taught how to use theater for self-expression, as well as self and social development.
Sapir’s ambition in life is to continue studying for a graduate degree in drama therapy. She aspires to help people improve themselves and their self-image through theater, so they can then cope with life in a better way.
