Sophia Mashayev

Studying Master degree of Performing Arts- Classical Singing, M.MUS at The Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance. The Teachers class, Ms Marina Levitt and Dr. Ido Ariel (2020).
Graduated a teaching certificate from the Levinsky College of Education in Tel Aviv, a senior teacher, a multi-year track grades 1-12 specializing in music (2018).
Gained a first degree B.MUS at The Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance Faculty of Performing Arts, major in classical voice (2013).
During her studies won Scholarships from the Music Academy in Jerusalem, and a Scholarship for excellence from the America-Israel Cultural Foundation (2009-2013).
Played the role of Drusilla in the opera L’incoronazione di Poppea by Claudio Monteverdi (2013).
Performed as a soprano solist with the Beer-Sheva Orchestra, which was conducted by Maestro Hayim Gafter & Mr. Teddy Shushankov (2012).
Participated in the International Festival “The Sound of Music” in the Upper Galilee (“Sounds in the Valley”) where had got a Master – Class with Maestro Mr. David Stern and Prof. Berthold Schmid & Ms Zehava Gal.
Sophia have taken part in ‘Aholmim Ahar Ashemesh’ concert at the Jerusalem National Library for creating Sasha Argov’s music site.
Won solo competition for singing Mozart arias with the Israeli orchestra which was conducted by maestro Gay Feder (2012).
Performed in the Gary Bertini Israeli Choir together with the Philharmonic Orchestra in the Mann Auditorium, Tel – Aviv conducted by Maestro Zubin Mehta.
