Tamar Harpaz

Tamar Harpaz is a Tel-Aviv based sculptor, installation and sound artist.

Her work was shown in museums and galleries, among them: Tel-Aviv Museum of Art, Edel Assanti gallery, London, the Henry Moore Institute for the Sculpture Biennale, Leeds, Macro Museum, Rome, Center for Contemporary Art (CCA), Tel-Aviv, and Sommer Contemporary in Tel Aviv.

Harpaz is the recipient of Wolf Foundation's Kiefer prize, Tel-Aviv Museum's Givon prize, and the Ministry of Culture prize for emerging artist. Her education includes an MFA and a BFA from the Bezalel Academy of Art. Between 2015-2017 she was an artist-in-residence at the Rijksakademie, Amsterdam.

Harpaz is a lecturer at Bezalel Academy of Art and is represented by Sommer Gallery.
