Tamar Latzman
Tamar graduated from S.V.A, New York ( M.F.A, 2010), studied Fine Art at The School of Art, Hamidrasha, College, Israel, and a graduate of the Photography department, Hadassah College, Jerusalem.
Her awards and residencies include: Artis Project Grant; The Memorial Foundation for Jewish Culture fellowship grant; Arts Asylum Small Grants; Mifal Ha’pais Grant; The Polish Institute Grant; Shpilman Institute for Photography Grant for Individuals (Israel); The Sharet Scholarship for young artists from the America-Israel Cultural Foundation; The Lower Manhattan Cultural Council’s Swing Space Residency Program, residence at Rupert (Vilnius, Lithuania) and a fellow at Alma College for Hebrew Culture studies.
Among other venues, her work was shown at: Eyebeam (New York), UnionDocs (New York), Jüdisches Museum Hohenems (Austria), Artists House (Tel Aviv), Herzliya Museum of Contemporary Art (Israel), Ashdod Museum of Art (Israel), Loop Festival (Barcelona), and SVA Photo Gallery (New York).
