Tamar Tal-El

Tamar was born in Jerusalem in 1990 and has been interested in illustration from a very young age.
She was an art student at the Charles E. Smith High School for the Arts in Jerusalem in plastic arts. After army service and travels to the Far East, she enrolled in the Bezalel Art Academy in Visual Communications in the Illustration track.
During her studies she taught drawing and visual communications at the A.R.T. Studio in Jerusalem and worked at Zeltner Publication house as an illustrator in Tel Aviv. In her third year of studies she was an exchange student in Munster Germany where she studied illustration and produced children’s books.
To date, she has illustrated 5 books- mostly for children. Tamar will be participating in Sarit Shani Chai Studio children’s book illustration week in Tel Aviv. Tamar completed her studies in 2017 with honours and is presently working on her 6th children’s book in Canada.
