Tovit Adis Semay

Tovit Adis Semay was born in Ethiopia, and made Aliya to Israel with her family at the age of two. She grew up in Mazkeret Batya and completed her education in 2007.
Tovit’s first introduction to the world of theater was at the age of 16, at the “Yitzhak Rabin” high school, in theater class. Today she is studying at the Yoram Loewenstein Acting Studio.
Among the roles she played were Elizabeth Sawyer in “The Witch of Edmonton” by William Rowley, Thomas Decker and John Ford;
Natasha in Chekhov’s “Three Sisters”;
and the Nurse (among other characters) in Odon von Horvath’s “Don Juan Returns from the War”.
In March of 2016, Tovit and some of her classmates were chosen to represent the school in the Sefi Rivlin Scholarship Competition, an annual comedy festival, where she won an honorable mention.
Tovit is a 2016-7 AICF scholarship recipient.
