Tslil Turgeman
Tslil Turgeman was born in Tel Aviv, Israel, and lives in Khokav Ya’ir. Currently, an apprentice with the Israel Ballet Company.
Tslil lived in India for 8 years. There, she danced at the Russian Classical Ballet School.
With her return to Israel in 2016, Tslil joined the Conservatory of Music and Dance Kfar-Saba.
Later studied at the Thelma Yellin High School of Arts, majoring in dance.
Courses:
In the summer of 2017, she attended the AAB (American Academy of Ballet) summer course in New York, after receiving a scholarship.
In the summer of 2018, she attended the Yorkshire Ballet Summer School in Yorkshire, England, after winning first place in the RAD competition and receiving a full scholarship.
Summer 2019 attended the Paris Opera Ballet summer intensive.
Summer 2021 attended International Ballet Masterclasses in Prague.
Tslil also attended courses in Israel including Fresco Dance Company, Dance Community Club, Thelma Yellin High School of arts, Israel ballet etc.
Competitions:
In 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021 Tslil received a “Sharett” scholarship of excellence from the America-Israel Cultural Foundation.
– February 2020, Tslil won first prize in the “Virtoz” competition.
– First place in the CND competition (2020 and 2021)
– Second prize in the YAGP competition’s semifinals held in Israel.
– Received the “Distinction” mark at the RAD exams.
– Received the certificate of excellence in the performance awards at the AAB summer course in New York.
– Finalist in the Mia Arbatova dance competition
– December 2019, Tslil competed in the international competition YAGP (Youth America Grand Prix) in Barcelona.
Tslil was accepted to the English National Ballet School in London, England. Considering the current situation regarding the COVID-19 pandemic in Israel and in the world, she decided that it would not be safe to travel at this time.
