Victoria Alexeeva
Victoria Slavin, Soprano. Was born in Belarus and immigrated to Israel in 1990. She started her music education in the Kiryat Tivon conservatory. In 2008 Victoria was accepted to the Buchmann Mehta school of music, in class of prof. Tamar Rachum, in 2010 continued her first degree (B.MUS) in the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance first in class of Mrs. Agnes Massini and graduated in the class of Ms. Larisa Tetuev. Since 2015 Victoria sings under the guidance of maestro Vladimir Braun – People’s Artist of USSR.
Victoria participated in master classes of maestro Gábor Holerung, Ms. Dalia Schechter, Mr. John Norris, maestro David Stern and more.
She performs in such important classical music events as Jerusalem Festival where she sang the title role of Poppea from L’incoronazione di Poppea by Monteverdi under the baton of David Shemer, and Israel Festival.
Victoria collaborated with many leading Israeli musicians, such as mr. Omer Arieli, the musical director of the Jerusalem Opera, who invited her to sing with his symphonic orchestra in the YMCA concert hall Jerusalem.
In 2016 mrs. Alexeeva was chosen to open the “Golden Ice Israel” – the Olympic champions skating show in front of 5000 people.
She is a winner of many grants and scholarships, among them «Swiss Friends of TAU» Grant.
