Vivian Hirsch Birkenfeld

Vivian Hirsch Birkenfeld, born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Made Alia in 1972. Art studies at the Avni Institute in Tel Aviv and at the Free Workshop in Givatayim, under the artists Itzik Adi and Heleni Shamay. B.A. and M.A. in Art History at the Tel Aviv University. Lives and works in Rishon Lezion, Israel.
Vivian teaches drawing and painting. Exhibitions Coordinator and Curator at the Rishon Lezion Artist’s House. She has exhibited her paintings and video-art works, among many others, at Ben Ari Art Museum in Bat Yam, Mabat Gallery in Tel Aviv, Mishkan Leomanut in Holon, The Artist’s House in Rishon Lezion, The Art workshop in Yavneh, and at the Shared Art Salon in Tel Aviv.
Hirsch Birkenfeld won the Amutat Haomanim Rishon Lezion Prize for Digital Art in 2017 and Outstanding work of Art in 2018.
