Walaa Shehade

Walaa Shehade was born and raised in the village of Sha’ab, up north near Acre, Israel. She studied at Oranim academic college, and is living in Haifa. she is a multiple media artist, doing sculpture, installation art, print, video art and photography, realistic drawing and painting.
In 2016, Walaa participated in a young creators competition at the Hecht Museum in Haifa University. In September 2017 she participated in a street exhibition in Jaffa, presenting best works by young artists. Another exhibition took place in September 2017 at Beit HaGefen, Haifa.
Noted awards:
Walaa has received a commendation from the Hecht Museum in the 2016 competition.
She received a first place Certificate of Excellence at the Oranim academic college graduation.
She is a 2017 AICF grant recipient.
