Yonatan Tony Rotenberg
Yonatan Tony Rotenberg was born in Jerusalem in 2001 in a musical family. At the age of six, he began his studies on the violin and after a few years switched instruments and started playing the trumpet in the class of Mr. Yevgeny Kleiman in the Jerusalem Academy High School of Music and Dance.
Together with Kleiman Band, Yonatan Tony took part in numerous festivals all over Israel and abroad, including the Interfolk Festival in St. Petersburg (Russia, 2015), the Slavian Bazar in Vitebsk (Belarus, 2016), Constellation in Nessebar (Bulgary, 2017), Prague (Czech, 2019) and Summer Academy (Poland, 2020). Appeared at the winter and summer festivals of the Jerusalem Academy High School, at the Israel Museum and participated in Masterclasses with Fabio Brum and Sergey Nakaryakov.
Yonatan Tony is a a prize winner of the “World Music” competition (2018, Jerusalem, the 2nd place) and a recipient of the Rokem Foundation (2020). Yonatan Tony performed as a soloist in concert projects Kh. Zimbalista with the Israel Symphonietta Beer Sheva (2020) and Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra (2019).
