Zohar Jolles
Zohar Jolles was born in Moshav Merchavia, in the north of Israel, and still lives and works there today.
She studied Textile Design at the Shenkar school, and worked as a graphic designer and textile designer. She later began focusing on Judaica work, especially designing and creating objects from glass and stone, using different techniques. She also works as a silver jewelry designer for “Aleh Megiddo”.
Since 2010, she has been cooperating with Laurie Sartani, a ceramic artist.
Throughout her career, Zohar has studied and investigated different aspects of Jewish culture and art, as well as working with different materials and new techniques, such as sand blasting.
Her work has been exhibited worldwide, and pieces of hers are held in collections in Israel and abroad.
