Event Info

A driving force behind Israel’s rich cultural life and the growth to worldwide prominence of many Israeli artists, AICF will celebrate its 68th anniversary with a gala concert featuring current and past scholarship recipients including Pinchas Zukerman.

The program will include a performance by the Zukerman Chamber Players with the Ariel String Quartet of Mendelssohn’s Octet for Strings.  There will also be performances by Maya Lahyani–mezzo soprano, Benjamin Hochman–piano, Tibi Cziger–clarinet, and arrangement by Noam Sivan.

The King Solomon Award will be presented to Dr. William F. Baker, CEO, Educational Broadcasting Corporation, licensee of public broadcasters Thirteen/WNET and WLIW New York.

The Aviv Award will be presented to Michal Rovner, Artist.
