AICF Opens the New Year with Aviv Competitions 2022 Finals
In this year's annual Aviv Competitions by AICF, 29 contestants aged 21-33 will compete in the fields of Piano, Cello, Brass Wind Instruments, and Vocals
AICF’s biannual Aviv competitions are approaching, and you are invited to join us as an audience and watch the promising Israeli talents of the world of classical music.
In the 2022 Aviv competitions, 29 contestants aged 21-33 will compete in the following fields: Piano; Cello; Brass Wind Instruments; and Vocals, and the following prizes will be awarded:
★ Goldie R. Feldman Piano Prize, the contribution of the Canada-Israel Cultural Foundation, in the amount of $6,000
★ The Rachel and Dov Gottesman Family Cello Prize, in the amount of $6,000
★ The Brass Wind Instrument Prize named after Lilian Shapiro and Lester Beryl Redlo, donated by their grandson David Eliezer Lieberman, in the amount of $6,000
★ The Michal Oren Vocal Prize, in the amount of $6,000
★ The Rafi Guralnik Prize for the outstanding performance of an instrumental Israeli piece, donation of the Guralnik family, in the amount of NIS 7,500
★ The Mira Zakai Prize for an outstanding performance of an Israeli vocal piece, a donation of the Zakai family in the amount of NIS 7,500.
Stage I in Cello and the final stages in all categories will be held on January 2 and 4, 2023 at the Tel Aviv Museum of Art’s Recanati Hall. At the end of this stage, on January 4, 2023, the winners will be announced in all areas of the competitions, as well as the winners for outstanding performances of instrumental and vocal Israeli pieces.
Viewing the final stage is possible by ticket purchase only.
★ Monday – January 2, 2023
9:30-12:00 – Stage 1 in Cello (Recital)
13:00-15:00 – Cello Finals (Concerti)
17:00-18:00 – the final stage in the outstanding performance of an Israeli vocal piece
18:30-21:00 – The final stage in the Vocal competition
★ Wednesday – January 4, 2023
12:00-14:00 – The final competition in Brass Instruments
15:00-16:30 – Final competition for the outstanding performance of an instrumental Israeli work
17:00-19:00 – Final piano competition
20:00 – Announcement of winners in all categories
The 2022 Aviv Competitions are held in partnership with the Tel Aviv Museum of Art and Annette Studio, and with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Sports.
