Two exceptional players share the stage in a joint Carnegie Hall debut performance: Violinist Dan Auerbach and pianist Joshua Pierce. In the duo’s Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall debut, violinist Dan Auerbach and pianist Joshua Pierce present a program featuring Mozart’s Sonata No. 18 for Violin and Piano in G Major, Brahms’s Violin Sonata No. 3, Ravel’s Violin Sonata No. 2, Sebastian Currier’s Aftersong, and Bloch’s Nigun from the Baal Shem Suite. Sarasate’s Introduction and Tarantella is added to showcase the violin.
