Two exceptional players share the stage in a joint Carnegie Hall debut performance: Violinist Dan Auerbach and pianist Joshua Pierce.  Together they present an exclusive program featuring works by Mozart, Brahms, Ravel, Currier, Bloch, and Sarasate. A dynamic and elegant music event not to be missed.
Support for this project was provided by a PSC-CUNY Award, jointly funded by The Professional Staff Congress and The City University of New York.
In the duo’s Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall debut, violinist Dan Auerbach and pianist Joshua Pierce present a program featuring Mozart’s Sonata No. 18 for Violin and Piano in G Major, Brahms’s Violin Sonata No. 3, Ravel’s Violin Sonata No. 2, Sebastian Currier’s Aftersong, and Bloch’s Nigun from the Baal Shem Suite. Sarasate’s Introduction and Tarantella is added to showcase the violin.
