Edan Gorlicki’s “Lucky Bastards”
This piece is winner of the Dance and Theater Prize of the city of Stuttgart and the land of Baden-Württemberg 2019!
Lucky Bastards is a cross-disciplinary gala combining dance, music, visual arts, story telling and social participation. This full evening experience aims to expose, discuss and raise awareness to the theme of privilege through diverse perspectives and outlooks on socio-sub cultures. The evening is structured as a unique event that intertwines the audiences’ journey through the complex and often misunderstood theme of privilege.

Edan Gorlicki, born in Haifa, Israel, is the choreographer and artistic director of INTER-ACTIONS in Heidelberg. Dance companies Batsheva Ensemble, Inbal Pinto Dance Company, NND / Galilidance and Club Guy & Roni together.
Edan's choreographic works "The Players" and "Lucky Bastards" were awarded the prestigious Dance and Theater Prize of the City of Stuttgart and the State of Baden-Württemberg for 2017 & 2019.
The philosophy and conviction of Edan's artistic approach is based on the search for the self in his environment. Edan's work always explores social, psychological and emotional realms.
