IN PRINT Art Book Fair
Heddy Abramowitz's debut artist’s book Life-tumbled Shards will be presented In Print Art Book Fair in Jerusalem
Heddy Abramowitz will participate in the 4th Annual IN PRINT Artists Book Fair at the Hansen House in Jerusalem. She will present her debut artist’s book Life-tumbled Shards.
Established in 2018, In Print Art Book Fair is an annual event based in Jerusalem. The art book fair features a variety of work from over two hundred international exhibitors—from zines and art books, to out-of-print catalogues and special edition artist books.
In Print, directed by Jenna Romano and Danielle Gorodenzik, is an independent organization that supports local artists working within the medium of print. Our goal is to cultivate international exchange within the art book industry by bringing international artists to our fair, while representing and promoting the work of local artists. Alongside the fair, In Print also organizes programming including panel discussions, artist talks and book launches.
Abramowitz's debut artist’s book – a medical memoir – will be available. Called Life-tumbled Shards, it is a work that grapples with the loss of her adult daughter to illness. The artist explores her inner thoughts. Through words and where words go wanting, through a series of monoprint self-portraits, she seeks a creator’s path out of immobilizing grief.
