Inspiration and Dialogue: Tel Aviv Wind Quintet
The Tel Aviv Wind Quintet return to the Tel Aviv Museum of Arts.
Their program this time focuses on tribute pieces by great composers.
The main piece in the program is a world premiere of Mordechai Rechtman's brand new arrangement of 'Variations and Fugue on a Theme by Handel' by Brahms, dedicated to the TAWQ.
Also in the program: another two musical homages; by Ravel - 'Le Tombeau de Couperin', and by Beethoven - 'Variations on Là ci darem la mano', from Mozart’s 'Don Giovani'.
The TAWQ will perform a similar program twice in Jerusalem as well: In the Eden Tamir Music Center in Ein Karem on Saturday, February 11th at 11:00; And in the BYU Jerusalem Center for Near Eastern Studies (The Mormon University) on Sunday, February 12th at 20:00.
