‘Intolerable Beauty’: Hadar Gad’s New Solo exhibition

Gad is presenting a conceptual portrait of the essence of culture as unyielding form of resistance to violence, an alternative that cannot be erased.


Intolerable Beauty continues and deepens the issues that Gad addressed in “Afterlives: Recovering the Lost Stories of Looted Art” at the Jewish Museum New York in late 2021, which engaged in the history of artworks and cultural artifacts looted by the Nazis during World War II.
