Marva’s Wondrous Whimsy at Pete’s Candy Store

Marva's Wondrous Whimsy, a new group led by Boaz Marva as it's singer, composer, lyricist and guitarist. It's a blend of Rock, Jazz, Metal, Folk, Progressive and more. It will feature Sammy Weissberg on Bass and Pie Jaz on Drums.

One of the most celebrated guitarists in the current NYC scene, Boaz Marva grew up in the fusion and metal scene of Jeruslaem, Israel and worked with various projects and bands, including Boaz Marva Trio, Boaz Marva Project, Bozzi Marva Sings and Plays, Hillel Reiner, Kivsus, Scarcity, Abrage, Mania D' Pressia and more. Since the age of 15 he has been performing professionally across Israel with different groups, further honing his skills as a guitarist and performer.

Since coming to NYC in 2016 He performed in the most revered venues in the city noumerous times such as Rockwood Music Hall, Anyway Cafe, KGB Red room, The Flatiron Room, Alphaville, Mercury Lounge, Pianos and more. He collaborated with some of the leading jazz musicians of our times, including Davis Whitfield, Reggie Workman, Sam Yahel, Peter Bernstein, Dave Douglas and more.
