Meitar Ensemble at Merkin Hall

Meitar Ensemble and their conductor in residence, Pierre-André Valade, conclude their U.S. tour with a concert at Merkin Hall.

Praised by the New York Times for their “excellence, poise and precision,” the Meitar Ensemble, founded in 2004 by artistic director Amit Dolberg, has established itself as a prominent array of virtuosos specializing in contemporary music.

This program represents some of the fruits of ongoing collaborations with leading Israeli composers from three generations and various musical styles, including electro-acoustic elements and multimedia.
