Music in the Circle – International Summer Festival

A celebration of long-established partnerships between Cleveland's leading musical institutions

A celebration of long-established partnerships between Cleveland's leading musical institutions, Music in the Circle represents a legacy of excellence, community engagement and leadership. The numerous institutions collaborating with us include the Cleveland Institute of Music, the Cleveland International Piano Competition, Judson Manor, the Jewish Federation of Cleveland and the America-Israel Cultural Foundation.

The festival will present a distinguished roster of world-class artists from Germany, Switzerland, Israel and the United States, several of whom are AICF grant recipients. Our mission is to increase the accessibility of classical music to wider audiences through community engagement. Our series presents several free concerts around University Circle for the benefit of the local community. Our programs include concerts for children and seniors, as well as a festive gala performance at the Gartner Auditorium at the Cleveland Museum of Art.

Our artists are committed to exploring innovative ways of engaging with different sectors of our community by exploring diverse repertoire in various non-traditional settings. Programs will include a variety of works from the chamber music repertoire, as well as new music composed by our composer-in-residence, Chris Neiner.
