Composer and violinist Omer Ashano makes his long-awaited performance at the notable Rockwood Music Hall. Ashano has become a unique and inspiring musician in the Israeli jazz scene, combining traditional jazz with esoteric musical traditions from Africa, India and beyond.

Highly respected as a versatile and musically mature violinist, Omer is at his best when given the opportunity to perform with his own quartet. His distinct accomplishments as an improvisor and composer keep expanding. He has already performed as a leader or soloist at top Israeli and US clubs and festivals, including Red Sea Jazz Festival, FAI festival, InDnegev festival, Yearot Menashe Festival, Beach Bar Jazz & Rock Festival, Club Bonafide, Django Reinhardt Festival, TomiJazz, Levonitn 7, Ha’ezor, Tel Aviv Museum, Shablul Jazz Club, Enav Center of The Arts, The Yellow Submarine in Jerusalem, Jerusalem Mormon University, Beit Ha’amudim and others.
