Roots: An Exhibition by Edna Etti Giron
A solo exhibition by the artist Edna Etti Giron refering to the connection between heaven and earth
"Roots - Painting from the Belly, Meditative Painting": A solo exhibition by the artist Edna Etti Giron of Kibbutz Gezer, in Yad Labanim, Ramat Gan.
An exhibition that refers to the connection between heaven and earth!
Etty's art was born four years ago, following a shaky spiritual experience, without previous experience, preparation or study. As a result of the experience she studied healing through channeling and since then has been using channels for the benefit of art, "the paintings pass through" without prior planning, and every "error" becomes an inseparable part of the work.
Since then, she has painted hundreds of paintings, most of which can be seen in the exhibition, in various materials, in a variety of techniques, and in a variety of styles that are associated with ancient periods such as the First Temple period in which they created carpets in Sisyphean art and Aboriginal style.
Her artistry is believed to serve only as a conduit that transmits an ancient artistic background, connecting heaven and earth, between the spiritual and the earthly, and which she is obligated to pass on to others.
Opening hours: weekdays - 14:00 - 08:30, Friday - 10:00 - 13:00, Saturday - 11:00 - 15:00
Curator: Carmi Kobi
