
Tel Aviv University Celebrates Yoav Talmi’s 80th Birthday
The Buchmann-Mehta School of Music at the Tel Aviv University, will open its gates to honor and celebrate Maestro Yoav Talmi's 80th birthday.
The event will include an interview with the Journalist Baruch Askarov, covering over 55 years of Talmi's professional life as conductor, composer and teacher.
This will be accompanied by a selection of videos, displaying some of Talmi's concerts around the world, including some of his own compositions.
A selection of Yoav's chamber music works will be performed live by a number of his colleagues: Tibi Cziger, Clarinet / Yossi Arnheim, Flute / Hillel Zori, Cello / Ori Kam, Viola / Hagai Yodan, Piano / The Carmel String Quartet.
