Orit Nahmias was born in Jerusalem in 1977 and studied acting at the Seminar Hakibutzim in Tel Aviv. Her drama Why Me? was honored at the Israeli TeatroNeto Festival in 2008. Orit Nahmias has appeared in various theatre productions in Israel, including Taxi, Revizor and Reluctant Heroes. She appeared at the Schaubühne in Dritte Generation and Day Before the Last Day by Yael Ronen & Company. In 2013 she wrote with Dalia Castel the film script for the documentary Jerusalem for Cowards.
