Aviv Competitions 2020

Come see the up-and-coming musicians in the world of classical music! This year 32 young and outstanding musicians through 2 stages will compete in next categories:

Piano | Violin | Viola | Woodwinds | Composition

The 2020 competitions include the following prizes in each category:

  • The Rafi Guralnik Prize for Piano – $6.000
  • The Ilona Kornhauser Prize for Violin, donated by the Kornhauser family of the Canada-Israel Cultural Foundation – $6.000
  • The Rachel and Dov Gottesman Family Prize for Viola – $6.000
  • The Susan and Emanuel (Bob) Kornhauser Prize for Woodwinds, donated by Kornhauser family of the Canada-Israel Cultural Foundation – $6.000
  • The François Schapira Prize for Composition – $6.000
  • The Prize for the Outstanding Israeli Instrumental Performance – 15.000 ₪
  • The Meira Geyra “Audience Choice” Prize, donated by Rachel and Dov Gottesman Family – $2.000
