Batsheva is Back on Stage with a New Show: “Summer Snow”
Batsheva Dance Company is thrilled to return to costume fittings, backstage corridors, lighting rehearsals, sound checks, and all that we do to create that magical live encounter between artists and their audiences, which has no virtual equivalent.
Our company began an exciting season showing the audience what they have been preparing in the studio and online during lockdowns and the long Corona months, when the dancers were not able to work regularly. The Young Ensemble premiered a glittering multi-bill evening with six new short pieces commissioned from six choreographers. The senior company is premiering a much-anticipated new creation by rising choreographer Ella Rothschild, a former Batsheva dancer who is carving out her unique artistic language.
